PENGGUNAAN TEHNIK Z-TRACK DAN AIR-LOCK UNTUK MENURUNKAN RASA NYERI PADA TEHNIK MENYUNTIK INTRAMUSKULER

Abstract


Penatalaksanaan medis yang sangat memberikan rasa nyeri adalah prosedur injeksi, dimana penggunaannya di kalangan medis semakin meningkat. Rasa nyeri yang timbul pada saat prosedur injeksiharus diatasi karena dapat mengakibatkan proses pengobatan tertunda dan berujung kepada kematian. Pencarian tehnik yang paling efektif untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri saat prosedur injeksi intramuskuler sangat diperlukan. Rangsang saraf non nosisepsi diinduksi melalui tehnik Z-track yaitu menekan dan menggeser permukaan kulit sebelumlarutan disuntik ke lapisan otot. Tidak merembesnya larutan dari lapisan otot ke sub kutan oleh tambahan udara 0.2 ml pada larutan suntikan memberi efek mengunci lubang akibat tusukan jarum adalah melalui tehnik Air-lock. Vitamin neurobion 5000 disuntik kepada wanita dewasa sehat (n=60) menggunakan tehnik Z-track dan Air-lock. Rasa nyeri saat prosedur injeksi diukur menggunakan skala urut verbal 0-3 (p=.01). Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan rasa nyeri yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok (> 0.05). Diharapkan kedua metode ini dapat menjadi prosedur baku dalam praktek medis menggantikan tehnik tradisional.
